A non-invasive system for on-line cleaning of heat exchangers features various means of delivering one or more chemicals to the inside surfaces of the tubes of such heat exchangers without prior dilution of such chemicals by the cooling fluid. Corrosion inhibiting chemicals, bio- cides, enzymes, or other chemicals of choice may be thus delivered. Such chemical treatment may be performed separately or in conjunction with physical treatment such as abrading or scouring and/or a more gen- tle wiping action.
