Terrain anticollision equipment generally uses a display device presenting a two-dimensional synthetic map of the terrain flown over by the aircraft wherein the relief is shown in superimposed layers (S1, S2, S3 ) to which are assigned false colours representing the degree of the risk of collisions. The attribution of the false colours and/or the positions of the layers are referenced relative to a display reference altitude (RefAlt) related to the aircraft instantaneous altitude (a/c alt(t)) or to an altitude forecast in the short term for the aircraft (forecast a/c alt(t)), each of the referencing elements having its own advantages depending on the current situation for the aircraft. The invention provides for varying, through soft transitions, without visible surges on the screen, the reference altitude display based on the aircraft situation deduced from the flight parameters to obtain, at all times for the crew, the most meaningful and the most useful possible map taking into account the instantaneous situation relative to the collision risks.
Les équipements anticollision terrain utilisent en général un dispositif d'affichage montrant une carte synthétique en deux dimensions du terrain survolé par l'aéronef dans laquelle le relief est montré par tranches superposées (S1, S2, S3, etc.) affectées de fausses couleurs représentatives de l'importance du risque de collisions. L'attribution des fausses couleurs et/ou les positions des tranches sont référencées par rapport à une altitude de référence d'affichage (RéfAlt) liée à l'altitude instantané de l'aéronef (a/c alt(t)) ou à une altitude prévue à court terme pour l'aéronef (prédite a/c alt(t)), chacun des référencements ayant ses avantages propres en fonction de la situation en cours pour l'aéronef. On propose ici de faire varier, avec des transitions douces, sans à-coups visibles sur l'écran, l'altitude de référence d'affichage en fonction de la situation de l'aéronef déduite des paramètres de vol pour avoir, à tout moment pour l'équipage, la carte la plus parlante possible et la plus utile possible compte-tenu de la situation instantanée vis à vis des risques de collision.
