A B S T R A C T The invention relates to the development of sealing method of end pieces of once chargeable, discardable siphon cartridges. The invention con- sists in that the end piece of the siphon cartridge is composed of one single specially shaped plug and of a suitably pre-formed cartridge mouth, between which, due to the reduction to size after charging and to the safety flanging, a safe overlapping seal and cold-welding take place, whereby the packing and con- tamination troubles originating from the use of rubber packing ring are elimin- ated.
