SULFONATO-ORGANOSILANOL COMPOUNDS AND COMPOSITIONS ABSTRACT This invention relates to sulfonato-organosilanol compounds, compositions and methods of use. More partic- ularly it relates to organosilanol compounds which have at least one sulfonato-organic substituent and which contain at least 30% by weight oxygen and no more than 15% by weight silicon with reference to the water-free acid form of the compounds. The compounds, compositions and methods of the invention are useful in rendering siliceous surfaces durably hydrophilic.
