ABSTRACT OF THE INVENTION: A method for producing a room temperature vulcanizable composition which has a high extrusion rate wherein a base mixture of a diorganopolysiloxane polymer, a silica filler, a cross-linking agent, an optional calcium carbonate filler, and an optional gamma-aminopropyl triethoxysilane is added at a first supply port along an extruder and extruded toward the extruder exit port, and a catalyst solution made of a tin catalyst and M-stopped polydiorganosiloxane fluid is added to the extruder downstream of the first supply port and adjacent the exit port resulting in a room temperature vulcanizable sealant having a high extrusion rate.
