An ostomy appliance is provided in which a relatively stiff but still flexible thermoplastic convex pressure ring is utilized to bond a pouch and faceplate together to provide an integrated one-piece appliance. The pressure ring is directly bonded on its convex side to an adhesive faceplate and is also directly and permanently secured on its opposite side to a collection pouch. Only two annular attachment zones, either in the form of heat seals or adhesive seals, are required to secure the pouch, pressure ring and faceplate together. In a preferred embodiment, the pressure ring additionally functions as a belt-attachment ring.
Accessoire de stomie comportant un anneau de pression convexe thermoplastique relativement rigide mais quand même souple, servant à raccorder un sac et une plaque frontale, le tout constituant un accessoire monobloc intégré. L'anneau de pression est fixé directement par sa partie convexe à une plaque adhésive, et est également fixé en permanence directement à un sac collecteur par son autre extrémité. Seulement deux zones de fixation annulaire, par scellement thermique ou adhésif, suffisent à fixer ensemble sac, anneau de pression et plaque frontale. Dans la configuration d'élection, l'anneau de pression sert également d'anneau d'attachement de courroie.
