M-6752G ONE PIECE PLASTIC STRAP ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A plastic strap has a locking device at one end defining a slot into which a flexible portion of the strap can be introduced and locked by teeth of the strap being engaged by a pawl of the locking device. The pawl has an engagement portion by which it can be moved to release the strap. To facilitate such movement of the pawl by pressing on the engagement portion to release it, the locking device has a bracing portion in opposed relationship to the engagement portion so that the pawl and bracing portion can be squeezed between the thumb and fore- finger.
