In the one-step immunoassay, carrier-bound antigen (solid phase), dis- solved labeled antigen of the same specificity are incubated, in a ratio determined in the process for the preparation, simultaneously with the liquid sample containing antibodies. After the liquid phase has been separated from the solid phase, the labeling on the solid phase is determined.
