A catalyst composition comprising: (a) a cobalt component comprising one or more non-ligated cobalt compounds; and (b) a ruthenium component comprising in major part a ruthenium carbonyl compound ligated with a phospholanoalkane ligand; and a process for preparing 1,3-propanediol using such a catalyst composition.
L'invention concerne une composition catalytique comprenant: (a) un composant à base de cobalt contenant un ou plusieurs composés de cobalt sans ligand, et (b) un composant à base de ruthénium contenant en majeure partie un composé de ruthénium carbonyle comportant un ligand phospholanoalcane. L'invention concerne aussi un procédé de préparation de 1,3-propanediol à l'aide d'une telle composition catalytique.
