NEH:em #3656 ONE-WAY VALVE FOR PARENTERAL APPARATUS Abstract of the Disclosure A one-way valve which effects positive and sen- sitive action as well as simplified construction in a parenteral solution administration device. Preferably, the valve is formed of a resilient, foamed plastic mater- ial with a flat surface on one side to engage an inlet orifice and has a projection on the opposite side. The disc valve is free to move within the valve body and is laterally spaced therefrom to permit fluid flow around the side wall. The outlet orifice has projections which allow flow between the projections and into the outlet orifice.
