A method of using the Internet to promote the completion of deferred customer contracts is disclosed. Prizes are randomly awarded when a customer selects a proposed contract, but cannot be redeemed until the contract has been entered into. A method of using randomly generated prizes to increase the traffic generated at a number of participating web sites is also disclosed. The method also permits the consolidation, exchange and redemption of incentive awards from different award programs.
