14 OPAQUE SUBSTRATE MATERIAL FOR LOTTERY TICKETS ABSTRACT An opaque substrate for printing lottery tickets and the like comprises a laminate formed of two sheets of paper stock each of which are themselves effectively translucent and an intervening layer of an adhesive material which carries a pigment sufficient to render the adhesive layer and the laminate as a whole opaque to transmitted light.
