An open-back hat (10) is provided which includes an adjustable sweatband (12), a forwardly extending bill (16), and a crown extending upwardly from the sweatband and bill in order to cover the forehead and sides of a wearer's head, while leaving a large rear open area (20). The area (20) allows pull- through of long hair and/or special hairstyles. In this manner, women or men with long hair may wear a baseball-type hat without fear of hairstyle damage.

L'invention porte sur une casquette ouverte à l'arrière (10) comportant un serre-tête réglage (12), une visière (16), et une calotte s'étendant vers le haut à partie du serre-tête de manière à couvrir le front et les tempes, mais laissant une large zone ouverte (20) sur l'arrière. Ladite zone permet de laisser passer les queues de cheval et/ou les coiffures spéciales. Ainsi, les porteurs de cheveux longs peuvent-ils porter des casquettes de type base-ball sans craindre d'endommager leur coiffure.
