The invention relates to an open-cell biocompatible coating for an implant, said coating being disposed on top of a raw surface of the implant. Pores of the open-cell coating are joined so as to form a coherent pore network while the coating is provided with an inner surface of >0.6 µm/µm2, preferably >0.035 µm/µm2, most preferably =0.025 µm/µm2, image-analytically measured as a 2D boundary line per surface unit in a metallographic section, magnified one hundredfold. The invention further relates to methods for producing such a coating, an implant coated therewith, and possible uses of the coating.

L'invention concerne une couche de surface biocompatible à pores ouverts, destinée à un implant, disposée sur une surface brute de l'implant, des pores de la couche de surface à pores ouverts étant connectés de manière à former un réseau de pores connectés. La couche de surface présente une surface intérieure > 0,06 ?m/?m2, de préférence > 0,035 ?m/?m2, notamment = 0,025 ?m/?m2, mesurée par analyse d'image en tant que ligne marginale bidimensionnelle par unité de surface, par coupe métallographique avec agrandissement de 100x.
