Abstract of the disclosure An opening device for drill rods for an extension rod drilling equipment, which device comprises a drilling machine (2) displaceable along a feeding beam (1), a sta- tionary drill rod retaining centralizer (3) positioned on the drilling axis (A) for the drill rod, and a drill rod gripping centralizer (4) positioned between the re- taining centralizer and the drilling machine. In order to speed up the disconnection of the drill rods, and in order to simplify the structure, the retaining central- izer is provided with a rotating mechanism (15) for the rotation thereof and the gripping centralizer is con- nected to an actuating device (22) for the displacement thereof in the direction of a drilling axis (A). (Figure 1)
