A magnetic tape drive for reading/writing/data on magnetic tape (10b) in a cartridge (10) of the type in which a driven roller (11) in the cartridge (10) moves tape (10b) past a read/write head (13) in the drive, has a door opening lever (52) disposed parallel to the direction of insertion of the cartridge. The lever (52) is mounted on a pivot (54) at one end on an axis perpendicular to the direction of insertion of the cartridge. The other end of the lever bears against the actuating portion of the door (50) to open the door (44) as the cartridge enters the drive. The lever (52) is moveable about its pivot only to the side of the cartridge to accommodate an insertion of the cartridge into the drive.
L'invention porte sur un dérouleur de bande magnétique de lecture/écriture de données sur une bande magnétique (10b) placée dans une cartouche (10) du type dans laquelle un galet entraîné (11) intérieur à la cartouche (10) fait défiler la bande (10b) face à la tête (13) d'écriture/lecture. Ledit dérouleur de bande magnétique comporte un levier (52) d'ouverture de porte parallèle au sens d'introduction de la cartouche. Le levier (52) est monté sur un pivot (54) à l'une des extrémités d'un axe perpendiculaire au sens d'introduction de la cartouche, et dont la deuxième extrémité vient buter sur la partie d'actionnement de la porte (50) commandant l'ouverture de la porte (44) lors de l'introduction de la cartouche dans le dérouleur. Le levier (52) ne peut pivoter autour de son pivot que du côté de la cartouche pour permettre l'introduction de la cartouche dans le dérouleur.
