An operation and maintenance communications link (40) is established between an antenna near parts component (18) and transmitter and receiver (12) of a transceiver site assembly. The transmitter and receiver are connected to a remote antenna (14) by means of a radio frequency feeder (16) supporting a plurality of communications channels. A radio transceiver (42) is connected to the antenna near parts component. A communications connection comprising the operation and maintenance communications link (40 (1)) is established between the radio frequency transceiver and the transmitter and receiver over the radio frequency feeder connected to the antenna using a selected one of the supported communications channels. Another implementation further utilizes an air interface connection (40 (2)) supporting the selected communications channel to provide the operation and maintenance communications link.
L'invention concerne une liaison de communications fonctionnement et maintenance (40) établie entre un composant proche antenne (18) et un émetteur et un récepteur (12) d'un ensemble émetteur-récepteur sur site. L'émetteur et le récepteur sont connectés à une antenne distante (14) à l'aide d'un élément d'alimentation en fréquence radio (16) supportant une pluralité de canaux de communication. Un émetteur-récepteur radio (42) est connecté au composant proche antenne. Une connexion de communications comprenant la liaison fonctionnement et maintenance (40 (1)) est établie entre l'émetteur-récepteur de fréquences radio et l'émetteur et le récepteur par le dispositif d'alimentation en fréquences radio connecté à l'antenne utilisant l'un des canaux de communication gérés.
