A control method allowing stable operation of a refrigerator conduction cooling type superconducting coil employing an oxide high temperature superconductor is provided. Thermal resistance between a refrigerator and a superconducting coil connected to a cooling stage of the refrigerator is obtained. From the obtained thermal resistance and the rated cooling capacity of the refrigerator, an effective cooling curve representing the relation between the temperature and calorific value is obtained. Operation of the superconducting coil which is energized while being cooled by the refrigerator is controlled such that the calorific value of the superconducting coil at a prescribed temperature does not exceed the effective cooling curve.
Méthode de commande assurant le fonctionnement stable d'une bobine supraconductrice du type refroidie par conduction au moyen d'un réfrigérateur. La bobine est constituée d'un supraconducteur oxyde à haute température. On obtient une résistance thermique entre un réfrigérateur et une bobine supraconductrice reliée à une étape de refroidissement du réfrigérateur. Grâce à la résistance thermique et à la capacité de refroidissement nominale du réfrigérateur, on obtient une courbe de refroidissement effective représentant la relation entre la température et la valeur calorifique. Le fonctionnement de la bobine supraconductrice, qui est sous tension pendant qu'elle est refroidie par le réfrigérateur, est réglé de manière à ce que la valeur calorifique de la bobine supraconductrice à une température prescrite n'excède pas la courbe de refroidissement effective.
