A fluid pump draws fluid from the bath chamber and pumps the fluid through the showerhead for providing a pressurized fluid massage effect upon the body part. A bath therapy apparatus is disclosed having a sound dampened fan assembly for forcing air into a bath chamber for providing a bubbling massage effect. A sound level measurement of the fan assembly under predefined conditions is less than that of the bubbling massage effect.
