OPHTHALMIC REFRACTING DEVICE ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The specification describes a refracting fixture for use in refracting an aphakic eye over a properly patient fitted spectacles frame glazed with major spherical component lenses and placed in position for use upon the patient. The fixture comprises the combination of a main supporting bar including a pair of tightly juxtaposed wires, a pair of trial lens holders suspended right-angularly from the bar, the holders being individually adjustable along a portion of the length of the bar and in directions across the bar, means for main- taining the right-angular disposition of the holders at all positions of adjustment along and across the bar and means for manually detachably connecting the bar and trial lens holders to a spectacles frame with the holders disposed forwardly of lens supporting rims of the frame.
