Incorporating a basic amine compound into eye drops containing the compound having a chemical structure represented by the general formula (I) and a cationic antiseptic remarkably enhances the antiseptic effect on the eye drops. In the general formula (I), R1 is any of the following structural formulae (Ia), (Ib), (Ic), (Id), (Ie), and (If).

Ledit additif contient un composé comprenant une structure chimique représentée par la formule (I). L'incorporation d'un composé amine basique dans des gouttes ophtalmologiques contenant un composé dont la structure chimique est représentée par la formule (I) et d'un antiseptique cationique permet d'améliorer, de manière remarquable, l'effet antiseptique de ces gouttes ophtalmologiques. Dans la formule (I), R?1 ¿est représenté par l'une quelconque des formules suivantes: (Ia), (Ib), (Ic), (Id), (Ie) et (If).
