The present invention relates to an optical ampli- fying device (10) for amplification of an optical signal incident to a photo diode and to the use of the same. The amplifying device comprises a laser device (110) and an electrical feeding circuit. The laser device is so formed that it comprises one single laser device comprising a number of active regions or laser struc- tures electrically connected in series within one and the same optical cavity.
L'invention concerne un dispositif (10) d'amplification optique conçu pour amplifier un signal optique incident sur une photodiode ainsi que son mode d'utilisation. Ledit dispositif d'amplification comporte un dispositif laser (110) et un circuit d'alimentation électrique. Le dispositif laser est constitué d'un seul dispositif laser comprenant plusieurs régions actives ou structures laser connectées électriquement en série dans une seule et même cavité optique.
