The invention concerns an optical article comprising a substrate (1) made of organic or mineral glass and a coating of transparent polymeric material (3) characterized in that it includes at least an intermediate layer (2) in direct contact with a main surface of the substrate and the polymeric material coating, the intermediate layer(s) consisting of particles of at least a colloidal mineral oxide and optionally of a binder, said intermediate layer(s) being filled with the material of the polymeric material coating or of the substrate if the latter is made of organic glass and, optionally partly with the binder when it is present, such that the intermediate layer(s), after the initial porosity has been filled, constitute each a quarter-wave plate with a wavelength ranging between 400 to 600, preferably from 450 to 650 nm.
Article d'optique comprenant un substrat (1) en verre organique ou minéral et une couche d'un matériau polymérique transparent (3) caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend au moins une couche intermédiaire (2) en contact direct avec une face principale du substrat et la couche de matériau polymérique, la ou les couches intermédiaires étant constituées de particules d'au moins un oxyde minéral colloïdal et éventuellement d'un liant, cette ou ces couches intermédiaires ayant une porosité initiale, et la porosité initiale de la ou des couches intermédiaires étant comblée par du matériau de la couche de matériau polymérique ou du substrat si celui-ci est en verre organique et, éventuellement en partie par le liant lorsqu'il est présent, de sorte que la ou les couches intermédiaires, après comblement de la porosité initiale, constituent chacune une lame quart d'onde à une longueur d'onde dans le domaine allant de 400 à 700, de préférence 450 à 650 nm.
