An optical cable (1) comprises a cable covering (11) and a number of optical transmitting elements (101, 102) arranged inside the cable covering (11). Each of the transmitting elements comprises a number of optical waveguides 10101, 10102 and a conductor sheath (1011) surrounding the optical waveguides. The conductor sheath (1011) contains a matrix material and a filler embedded in the matrix material. The melting point of the matrix material is higher than 85 ~C and the percentage by mass of the filler with regard the conductor sheath is at least 30 %.

L'invention concerne un câble optique (1) comprenant une gaine de câble (11) et plusieurs éléments de transmission optiques (101, 102), qui sont disposés dans la gaine de câble (11). Chacun des éléments de transmission comprend plusieurs fibres optiques (10101, 10102) et une enveloppe d'âme (1011), qui entoure les fibres optiques. L'enveloppe d'âme (1011) contient un matériau matriciel et une charge enrobée dans le matériau matriciel.
