The optical coupling device serves to overcouple light out of a first and into a second optical waveguide (20, 30), whereby an element (26) whose length can be varied influences the relative position of the opposite end surfaces of both optical waveguides (20, 30) with regard to one another. Said element (26) which fixes one of both optical waveguides (20) in a ferrule (24) is connected by a first retaining block (28) to a unit containing one of the other optical waveguides (30). The element comprises a guide device (34, 36) which engages inside a second retaining block (38, 40) and which permits an elongation of the element (26), primarily in only one spatial direction oriented parallel to the longitudinal axis of the element.

L'invention concerne un dispositif optique de couplage servant à surcoupler de la lumière provenant d'un premier et d'un second guide d'ondes optiques (20, 30), un élément (26) réglable en longueur influant sur la position relative mutuelle des surfaces terminales opposées des deux guides d'ondes optiques (20, 30). L'élément (26) qui fixe un des deux guides d'ondes optiques (20) dans une ferrule (24) est relié à une unité contenant l'autre guide d'ondes optiques (30) par un premier bloc de retenue (28).
