A disc holder for projecting through a central aperture of an optical disc in order to hold the optical disk in place. The disk holder includes a base, a rigid central core, several support arms that extend inwardly from the base to support the central core in spaced relation from the base, and securing means for releasably securing the rigid central core within the central aperture of the optical disc. The securing means includes locking fingers mounted on the central core. The locking fingers are biased outwardly against the edge of the central aperture of the disc when the disc is held by the disc holder. The force of the locking fingers against the edge of the central aperture of the disc helps to hold the disc in place. The locking fingers are movable radially inward to fit within the central aperture of the disc, thereby allowing the disc to move over the locking fingers so that the disc can be put on or taken off the disc holder.

L'invention concerne un support de disque destin~ ~ s'ins~rer dans une ouverture centrale du disque optique de mani­re ~ immobiliser un disque optique. Ce support de disque comprend une base, un noyau central rigide, plusieurs ailes de support s'~tendant ~ l'int~rieur depuis la base de mani­re ~ supporter le noyau central espac~ de la base ainsi que des moyens de fixation permettant de lib~rer le noyau central rigide fix~ dans l'ouverture centrale du disque optique. Les moyens de fixation comprennent des crochets de blocage mont~s sur le noyau central qui sont sollicit~s vers l'ext~rieur contre le bord de l'ouverture centrale du disque lorsque celui-ci est maintenu sur le support de disque. La force exerc~e par les crochets de blocage ~ l'encontre du bord de l'ouverture centrale du disque contribue ~ immobiliser le disque. Les crochets de blocage peuvent se d~placer radialement vers l'int~rieur afin de s'ajuster dans l'ouverture centrale du disque, assurant ainsi le positionnement ou le retrait du disque.
