An optical element easy to produce, reduced in production costs and having a wavelength selectivity, comprising an optical wave-guide sheet (22) having two facing end surfaces (22a, 22b), and a multi-layer film filter (23) formed on at least one of the two facing end surfaces. The multi-layer film filter includes high-refractive-index dielectric layers and low-refractive-index dielectric layers alternately laminated one upon another with its thickness changing continuously according to the positions of the facing end surfaces of the optical wave-guide sheet. Center wavelength of light transmitting the multi-layer film filter differs according to the positions of end surfaces of the optical wave-guide sheet. When a mixed ray of light is shone onto the multi-layer film filter from each lens via the optical wave-guide sheet, the mixed ray of light is separated into rays of light having different center wavelengths by the multi-layer film filter having different thicknesses.

L'invention concerne un élément optique facile à produire, à faible coût de production et présentant une sélectivité de longueur d'onde, comprenant une feuille (22) de guide d'ondes optique présentant deux surfaces terminales de recouvrement (22a, 22b), et un filtre (3) multicouche mince formé sur au moins une des deux surfaces terminales de recouvrement. Le filtre multicouche mince comprend des couches diélectriques à indice de réfraction élevé et des couches diélectriques à indice de réfraction faible stratifiées en alternance les unes sur les autres, leur épaisseur changeant de façon continue selon les positions des surfaces terminales de recouvrement de la feuille de guide d'ondes optique. La longueur d'onde de lumière centrale que transmet le filtre multicouche mince diffère selon les positions des surfaces terminales de la feuille de guide d'ondes optique. Lorsqu'un rayon de lumière mélangé apparaît sur le filtre multicouche mince provenant de chaque lentille via la feuille de guide d'ondes optique, le rayon de lumière mélangé est séparé en rayons de lumière ayant différentes longueurs d'onde centrales par le filtre multicouche mince présentant différentes épaisseurs.
