ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A double loop spiral spring strip for coupling a pair of optical fibers which may be terminated with ferrules. The diameter of one spring loop is increased by compressing the other loop thereby releasing the first loop grip upon the ferrules. Several spirals may be employed to form a multiway connector.
