ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The invention is directed to an optical fiber device for measuring of current and/or voltage, including at least one light conductor for transmitting optical signals between an optical transducer and light generating and light processing circuitry, respectively. A sensed electrical measuring signal is transmitted to a transducer for conversion to a mechanical movement which modulates the light flux received by the transducer.
