A parallelepiped optical fibre connecting box consisting of a number of mutually releasable modules (1, 2, ... 5) each containing at least one housing (8, 9) with optical fibre fastening members. Each housing (8, 9) comprises an elongate flat member (10) hinged to the bottom (11) of the module and joined to two hinged side walls (14, 15).
