A method of fabricating a distributed feedback optical fibre laser, comprises the step of exposing an optical fibre (20) to a transverse light beam (30) to form a grating structure in a section of the optical fibre, the writing light beam being polarised in a direction not parallel to the axis of the section (10) of optical fibre (20).
L'invention se rapporte à un procédé de fabrication d'un laser à fibre optique à rétroaction répartie, qui consiste à exposer une fibre optique (20) à un faisceau lumineux transversal (30) de façon à former une structure de réseau de diffraction dans une section de la fibre optique, ledit faisceau lumineux étant polarisé dans une direction qui n'est pas parallèle à l'axe de la section (10) de la fibre optique (20).
