An optical filter (120) used in applications involving spectroscopic measurements is fabricated by depositing layers (111) of optical coatings onto a substrate (110). The layers (111) are deposited so as to have a substantially constant thickness in a first direction along the surface of the substrate (110), and a gradually increasing thickness along a direction perpendicular to the first direction. The structure of the optical filter (120) allows for large scale production of the filter so that costs in producing the filter are greatly reduced. The filter (120) may be used in a variety of applications including, but not limited to chemical analysis, blood glucose monitoring, and the like.
L'invention porte sur un filtre optique (120), utilisé dans des applications faisant intervenir des mesures spectroscopiques, que l'on fabrique en déposant des couches (11) de revêtements optiques sur un substrat (110). On dépose ces couches (111) de manière à obtenir une épaisseur sensiblement constante dans une première direction le long de la surface du substrat (110) et une épaisseur graduellement croissante dans une direction perpendiculaire à la première. La structure de ce filtre optique (120) en autorise la production sur une grande échelle de sorte que les coûts de revient sont fortement abaissés. Il est possible d'utiliser ce filtre (120) dans diverses applications, entre autres l'analyse chimique, la glucométrie et analogue.
