Methods and apparatus are described for simultaneous transport of analog video signals and Ethernet data on an optical fiber (7, 22). A method includes propagating a downstream signal on an optical signal conductor (7, 22) from an upstream combiner (3, 26, 106) to a downstream combiner (8, 21, 109); and propagating an upstream signal on the optical signal conductor from the downstream combiner to the upstream combiner.
L'invention concerne des procédés et un appareil de transport simultané de signaux audio analogiques et de données Ethernet sur une fibre optique (7, 22). Un procédé de l'invention consiste à propager un signal en aval sur un conducteur de signal optique (7, 22) depuis un combineur en amont (3, 26, 106) jusqu'à un combineur en aval (8, 21, 109) ; et à propager un signal en amont sur le conducteur de signal optique depuis le combineur en aval jusqu'au combineur en amont.
