The invention concerns an optical protection screen with improved visibility comprising actuating means (M) for driving, in a displacement direction, a transparent film (F) placed in the field of vision of an optical apparatus or of a person. Cleaning elements, consisting of brushes (11), extending transversally to the displacement direction (A) of the film (F), are located on at least one side of the field of vision and are brought to bear on said film (F).
