The optical recording medium (20) has a substrate (1) and a stack (2) of layers provided thereon. A phase change recording layer (5), having a melting point Tmp is sandwiched between a first (3) and a second (7) dielectric layer. A crystallization-accelerating layer (4, 6) is being interposed in contact with the recording layer (5). Further a reflective layer (8) is present and an optional cover layer (9). The crystallization-accelerating layer (4, 6) consists of a binary metal alloy or a semiconductor and has a melting point Tmg at least 250 ~C higher than the melting point Tmp of the recording layer (5) and has a crystal structure similar to the crystalline state of the recording layer (5).
L'invention se rapporte à un support d'enregistrement optique (20) comportant un substrat (1) sur lequel est disposé un empilement (2) de couches. Une couche d'enregistrement à changement de phase (5), dotée d'un point de fusion T¿mp?, est prise en sandwich entre une première (3) et une seconde (7) couche diélectrique. Une couche d'accélération de la cristallisation (4, 6) est intercalée de manière à être en contact avec la couche d'enregistrement (5). En outre, une couche réfléchissante (8) est présente ainsi qu'éventuellement une couche de couverture (9). La couche d'accélération de la cristallisation (4, 6) est constituée d'un alliage de métal binaire ou d'un semi-conducteur, elle possède un point de fusion T¿mg ?supérieur d'au moins 250 ·C au point de fusion T¿mp? de la couche d'enregistrement (5) et présente une structure cristalline similaire à l'état cristallin de la couche d'enregistrement (5).
