Abstract A power supply circuit which reduces input voltage is provided to an optical repeater that is provided in the course of an optical communication path. DC current supplied from the regulated current feeding equipment in the terminal side through the conductor can be decreased by the current required by elec- trical circuits of the optical repeater, thereby reducing power consumption.
