An optical sensor system for use in a currency validator is described. The system includes a microcontroller (32), a plurality of light transmitters (A, B, C, D, SL, SR, and CC), a plurality of light receivers (A, B, C, D, SL, SR, and CC) and a variable gain amplifier circuit (46) connected to the receivers (A, B, C, D, SL, SR, and CC) and to the microcontroller (37). The microcontroller (37) controls the gain of the variable gain amplifier circuit (46). The variable gain amplifier circuit (46) includes dual transconductance amplifiers (96, 97) connected together in such a manner to compensate for leakage current over a wide range of temperatures.
L'invention concerne un système de capteur optique utile pour un appareil de validation de papier-monnaie. Le système comporte un microrégisseur (32), plusieurs émetteurs (A, B, C, D, SL, SR et CC) de lumière, plusieurs récepteurs (A, B, C, D, SL, SR et CC) de lumière et un circuit (46) amplificateur à gain variable connecté aux récepteurs (A, B, C, D, SL, SR et CC) et au microrégisseur (37). Le microrégisseur (37) commande le gain du circuit (46) amplificateur à gain variable. Le circuit (46) amplificateur à gain variable comporte deux amplificateurs (96, 97) à transconductance connectés entre eux de façon à compenser un courant de fuite sur une large plage de températures.
