An optical sensor for detecting a target comprising a singlestranded aptamer complementary to said target, and a water-soluble cationic polythiophene derivative of the following formula (I) wherein "n" is an integer ranging from 6 to 100, is disclosed. The optical sensor allows for the detection of targets selected from the group consisting of potassium ions, small organic molecules, amino acids, proteins, whole cells and nucleotides. The detection is based on the formation of hybrid anionic aptamer/cationic polythiophene complexes.
L'invention concerne un capteur optique destiné à détecter une cible comprenant un aptamère monocaténaire complémentaire de ladite cible, et un dérivé de polythiophène cationique soluble dans l'eau représenté par la formule (I) suivante dans laquelle "n" est un entier de 6 à 100. Le capteur optique permet de détecter des cibles sélectionnées dans le groupe composé d'ions de potassium, de petites molécules organiques, d'acides aminés, de protéines, de cellules entières et de nucléotides. La détection est basée sur la formation de complexes hybrides d'aptamères anioniques/polythiophènes cationiques.
