The invention relates to an optical storage medium, preferably a CD or a DVD, with a spiral-shaped track consisting of a successive pits, in which a hologram is superimposed in the recording area. The aim of the invention is to use the superimposed hologram to provide substantial protection against counterfeiting while ensuring that the hologram essentially remains easily recognisable when reconstructed. To this end, the hologram is introduced into at least one information support, for example the surface of the recording area that surrounds the pit.

L'invention concerne un support mémoire optique, de préférence un CD ou un DVD, comportant une piste en spirale composée de dépressions consécutives (pits), un hologramme étant superposé au niveau de la zone d'enregistrement. Afin d'atteindre un degré de sécurité élevé contre les contrefaçons au moyen de la superposition avec l'hologramme, sans que la reconnaissance de l'hologramme ne soit affectée significativement lors de sa reconstruction, ledit hologramme est logé dans au moins un support d'informations, par exemple dans la zone surfacique de la zone d'enregistrement regroupant les dépressions.
