An optical switch, comprising an optical fiber arrangement member (1) wherein a plurality of optical fiber fixed grooves (1a) extending in the radial direction of a virtual circle are formed radially on a specified surface of a base material, a plurality of arrangement side optical fibers (2) arranged in the plurality of optical fiber fixed grooves (1a) formed in the optical fiber arrangement member (1), and a movable side optical fiber (4) optically connected selectively to either of the plurality of arrangement side optical fibers (2), characterized in that the movable side optical fiber (4) and the optical fiber arrangement member (1) are rotated relatively to each other about the center axis (1o) of the virtual circle so as to optically connect the movable side optical fiber (4) selectively to the arrangement side optical fiber (2).
L'invention concerne un commutateur optique, comprenant un élément (1) d'agencement de fibres optiques, dans lequel une pluralité de rainures (1a) fixes de fibres optiques se présentant radialement par rapport à un cercle virtuel sont formées radialement sur une surface déterminée d'un matériau de base; une pluralité de fibres optiques (2) latérales d'agencement disposées dans la pluralité de rainures (1a) fixes de fibres optiques formées dans l'élément (1) d'agencement de fibres optiques; et une fibre optique (4) latérale mobile reliée optiquement de façon sélective à la pluralité de fibres optiques (2) latérales d'agencement. Le commutateur optique est caractérisé en ce que l'on fait tourner l'un par rapport à l'autre la fibre optique (4) latérale mobile et l'élément (1) d'agencement des fibres optiques autour de l'axe central (1o) du cercle virtuel pour connecter optiquement de façon sélective la fibre optique (4) latérale mobile à la fibre optique (2) latérale d'agencement.
