An optical waveguide circuit includes a plurality of waveguides with different lengths. Grooves (12) are formed in the waveguide by removing the upper cladding and the core of the waveguide (4) or by removing the upper cladding, the core and the lower cladding of the waveguide (4), and filled with a material (10) which have a refractive index temperature coefficient whose sign is different from the temperature coefficient of the effective refractive index of the waveguide. The difference between the lengths of the removed parts of the adjacent waveguides is proportional to the difference between the lengths of the remaining parts of the adjacent waveguides.
Ce circuit en guide d'ondes optique comprend une pluralité de guides d'ondes de différentes longueurs. On a formé des rainures (12) dans le guide d'ondes en enlevant la gaine supérieure et le coeur du guide d'ondes (4) ou en enlevant la gaine supérieure, le coeur et la gaine inférieure du guide d'ondes (4) et on a rempli ces rainures d'une matière (10) possédant une courbe coefficient de température/indice de réfraction différente de la courbe coefficient de température/indice de réfraction efficace du guide d'ondes. La différence entre les longueurs des parties enlevées des guides d'ondes adjacents est proportionnelle à la différence entre les longueurs des parties restantes des guides d'ondes adjacents.
