In an optical waveguide device of the present invention, optical element mount (17) includes first base block (19a) for supporting first optical element (18a) and second base block (19b) for supporting second optical element (18b) that has an active layer depth smaller than that of first optical element (18a). Second base block (19b) is formed from stacks of upper clad layers whose number of stacks is larger than that of first base block (19a). Difference (h1) in height between the first and second base blocks is equal to difference (d1 - d2) in active layer depth between the first and second optical elements.

L'invention concerne un dispositif de guide d'ondes lumineuses comprenant une section (17) de montage d'élément optique comprenant un premier bloc-embase (19a) destiné à soutenir un premier élément optique (18a) et un deuxième bloc-embase (19b) destiné à soutenir un deuxième élément optique (18b) caractérisé en ce que la profondeur d'une couche active est inférieure à celle du premier élément optique (18a). Le deuxième bloc-embase (19b) est formé d'une couche supérieure de revêtement comprenant plus de couches superposées que celles du premier bloc-embase (19a). La différence (h1) entre les hauteurs des premier et deuxième blocs-embases est égale à la différence (d1-d2) entre les profondeurs des couches actives des premier et deuxième éléments optiques.
