ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A (+) antipode of an aminopyridine derivative, which is represented by the formula (I) Image (I) wherein eacy symbol is as defined in the Specification, a salt thereof, and the use thereof as an agent for circulatory diseases. The compound of the invention is extremely low toxic and shows strong and long-lasting pharmacological action such as vasodepressor action. When used as a preventive or therapeutic agent for hypertension, in particular, the compound affords stable antihypertensive action even at diminished administration frequencies. Also, it can be used as a lipometabolism-improving agent.
