Optically active pyrrolopyridazine compounds having the general formula (I) or pharmacologically acceptable salts thereof: (wherein R1 is alkyl; R2 and R3 are each independently alkyl; R4 is optionally substituted aryl; and A is imino, oxygen, or sulfur). The compounds and the salts exhibit an excellent inhibitory activity against the secretion of gastric hydrochloric acid, a protective activity for the gastric mucus, and an excellent antimicrobial activity against <i>Helicobacter pylori</i>, and are useful as drugs, particularly preventive or therapeutic agents for ulcerative diseases.

L'invention porte sur des composés de pyrrolopyridazine optiquement actifs ayant la formule générale (I) ou sur leurs sels acceptables d'un points de vue pharmaceutique, (formule dans laquelle R?1¿ est un alkyle ; R?2¿ et R?3¿ sont chacun, indépendamment un alkyle ; R?4¿ est un aryle éventuellement substitué ; et A est imino, oxygène ou soufre). Les composés et les sels ont une excellente activité inhibitrice contre la sécrétion de l'acide chlorhydrique gastrique, une activité protégeant les muqueuses gastriques et une excellente activité antimicrobienne contre <i>Helicobacter pylori</i>, et sont utiles comme médicaments, notamment comme agents préventifs et thérapeutiques pour traiter les états ulcéreux.
