Provided is a method for searching for an optimal coder suitable to a dual stream transmission method of a DTV transceiving apparatus, and an encoder and a decoder employing the optimal coder searching method. The optimal coder searching method includes the steps of: a) determining a mixed pattern of normal stream and robust stream; b) determining a trellis structure of the robust stream which is applied to the mixed pattern based on how coders are connected; c) forming a dual stream trellis by mixing a trellis of the normal stream, which is a normal stream trellis, and a trellis of the robust stream, which is a robust stream trellis; d) computing a free distance at departing points of the dual stream trellis structure based on a dual stream free distance computation termination condition; and e) determining the optimal coder based on the free distance.
Procédé de recherche d'un codeur optimal convenant pour un procédé de transmission à double flux d'un appareil émetteur-récepteur pour télévision numérique, et codeur-décodeur reposant sur l'emploi de ce procédé de recherche de codage optimal. Ledit procédé englobe les opérations suivantes: (a) détermination d'un modèle mixte de flux normal et de flux robuste; (b) détermination d'une structure en treillis du train robuste qui est appliquée au modèle mixte compte tenu de la connexion des codeurs; (c) formation d'un treillis pour double flux double par mélange d'un treillis de flux normal (qui est un treillis de flux normal) et d'un treillis du train robuste (qui est un treillis de train robuste); (d) calcul d'une distance libre aux points de départ de la structure en treillis pour flux double en fonction de l'état de terminaison du calcul de la distance libre correspondante; et détermination du codeur optimal compte tenu de la distance libre.
