The module comprises a printed circuit board (L) that, as electrical interface on the one hand, comprises a plurality of metallic plugin contacts (SK) proceeding parallel in the region of a first end face for direct plugging of the module into an assembly. As optical interface on the other hand, the printed circuit board is connected to an optical element (OE) in the region of a second end face. Over and above this, components side and back side of the printed circuit board are respectively at least partially covered by a housing part (GK, KK).
