An oral care composition comprises an antibacterial phenolic compound and a vitamin or vitamin derivative component comprising one to a plurality of antioxidant vitamin or vitamin derivatives. In one embodiment the vitamin or vitamin derivative component comprises vitamin E and vitamin E acetate and optionally one or more additional vitamin or vitamin derivatives. In another embodiment the vitamin or vitamin derivative component comprises an antioxidant vitamin or vitamin derivative and a source of vitamin B5. A method of oral care comprises applying a composition as described above to an oral surface of a subject.
L'invention concerne une composition d'hygiène buccale contenant un composé phénolique antibactérien et une vitamine ou un dérivé de vitamine comprenant un à plusieurs dérivés de vitamine antioxydante ou une ou plusieurs vitamines antioxydantes. Dans l'un de ses mode de réalisation, le composant de vitamine ou de dérivé de vitamine contient de la vitamine E et de l'acétate de vitamine E et éventuellement un ou plusieurs dérivés de vitamine ou une ou plusieurs vitamines supplémentaires. Dans un autres mode de réalisation, le composant de vitamine ou de dérivé de vitamine comprend une vitamine antioxydante ou un dérivé du vitamine antioxydante et une source de vitamine B5. L'invention concerne également un procédé d'hygiène buccale consiste à appliquer la composition décrite ci-dessus sur la surface buccale d'un sujet.
