An oral care composition comprising a liquid phase containing 30% to 90%, preferably 30% to 80% by weight, based on the liquid phase, of water; dissolved tin; 200 to 2000 ppm fluoride ions, based on the oral composition; and 5 to 60% by weight, based on the oral care composition, of a C(3-5) sugar alcohol; characterised in that the content of dissolved tin [Sn] in the liquid phase is at least 750 ppm, preferably at least 1000 ppm, based on the composition; that 60 mol% or more, preferably 75 mol % or more of the content of dissolved tin [Sn] is in the formal oxidation state +II; and that the composition comprises an organic acid and ammonium cations of the Formula (I) : R-NH+R a [(CH2)u-NH+R b]v-R c (I), wherein R is a saturated or unsaturated straight-chain hydrocarbon residue of 10 to 20 carbon atoms, v is an integer from 0 to 1, u is an integer from 2 to 3 and R a, R b and R c are independently selected from hydrogen and -CH2CH2OH. The composition is preferably a mouthrinse. These compositions are tested in the treatment or prevention of erosive tooth demineralisation caused by food acids.
La présente invention concerne une composition de soins buccaux comportant une phase liquide contenant 30% à 90%, de préférence 30% à 80% en poids deau par rapport à la phase liquide; de létain dissous; 200 à 2000 ppm dions fluorures, par rapport à la composition de soins buccaux; et 5 à 60% en poids dun polyol C3-C5 par rapport à la composition de soins buccaux. Linvention se caractérise en ce que la teneur en étain [Sn] dissous dans la phase liquide est égale ou supérieure à 750 ppm, de préférence égale ou supérieure à 1000 ppm, par rapport à la composition; et que le pourcentage molaire égal ou supérieur à 60%, de préférence égal ou supérieur à 75%, de la teneur en étain [Sn] est dans un état doxydation formelle +11; et que la composition comporte un acide organique et des cations dammonium de formule (I), dans laquelle : R est un résidu hydrocarboné à chaîne droite saturé ou insaturé de 10 à 20 atomes de carbone, v est un nombre entier de 0 à 1, u est un nombre entier de 2 à 3, et Ra, Rb et Rc sont indépendamment choisis parmi hydrogène et -CH2CH2OH. La composition est de préférence un bain de bouche. Les compositions sont utilisées dans le traitement ou la prévention de la déminéralisation érosive des dents entraînée par des aliments acides.
