ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The present invention relates to oral compositions for treating sensitive teeth. These compositions comprise an agent for desensitising sensitive teeth, such as potassium nitrate or strontium acetate, and a particulate abrasive material which is hydroxyapatite. The hydroxyapatite is compatible with the desensitising agent.
