ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Oral compositions are provided containing a stabilized phosphopeptide. The phosphopeptide is selected from phosphopeptides having 5 to 30 aminoacids and having a particular amino acid sequence. The phosphopeptide can be derived from naturally occurring materials, e.g. from casein. The phosphopeptide is stabilized by the presence in the compositions of an anionic polymer, such as a sulfonate polymer or a carboxylate polymer, preferably a polyacrylate and/or acrylate/maleate copolymer.
